Myriad Global Media attended the Safety and Health Expo at the ExCeL Centre in London for the second year running. Building on last year, we decided to go one step better and take with us three new Virtual Reality (VR) training experiences to inspire our clients.
The user is taken through three scenarios and is required to carry out specific actions to prevent further risk to themselves and others around them, as follows:
VR has the potential to transform HSE training as we know it for all businesses. Immersing employees into hazardous and challenging environments to experience the associated risks. Our clients are developing new training applications with us continuously and after the Expo, we’ve started developing 10 new VR training applications.
The feedback has been extremely positive and the three VR HSE training scenarios on the stand were well received. Until you’ve experienced VR first hand it’s sometimes difficult to think how it could be applied to business objectives.
