Developing a clear Health & Welfare strategy for the UAE

Myriad Global Media recently hosted a Health and Welfare workshop in Abu Dhabi to bring together local industry thought leaders to discuss health and welfare in the work environment.

The one-day event welcomed around 100 attendees from the Health and Safety Community together with exhibitions from a number of not-for-profit organisations.

Presenters on the day included Dr. Waddah S. Ghanem Al Hashemi, a leading expert on Environmental Health and Safety and Mohammad Elam from the Environment Agency Abu Dhabi.

Presentation topics included: “Health and Wellbeing in the Environment”, “Health and Welfare in the Power Sector” and “Industry Collaboration towards CSR”.

A panel discussion around ‘what drives safety strategies in your organisation’ complimented the presentations which were followed by networking opportunities for attendees.
