Creation of a 3D Animated video to take external audiences on a journey through Apsara’s 40 million year history touching on it's geology and the advanced exploration technologies being used by KrisEnergy
Block A lies offshore Cambodia, where extensive exploration work since the mid-2000s resulted in the Apsara oil discovery. The area covers 4,709 sq km over the Khmer Basin in the Gulf of Thailand, with water depths up to 80 metres.
This animated video takes the audiences on a journey through Apsara’s fascinating 40 million year history, its geology and the advanced exploration technologies being used by KrisEnergy. The Apsara project is particularly important economically as it will launch Cambodia as an oil-producing nation. For this reason a Khmer language version has been created, ensuring that the video is accessible to Cambodian nationals including the general public, employees and contractors working on the project, government officials and local authorities.
The Apsara film is currently being showcased on KrisEnergy’s YouTube Channel and on their website along with other project films recently produced by Myriad Global Media including Wassana, Udan Emas and Lengo.
