The Greater Gabbard Offshore Wind Farm comprises 140 wind turbines within an area of 147-square kilometres. As a relatively new industry, this massive development offered significant challenges.
Myriad produced informative, corporate and project communication films to capture the evolution of the project over a three-year period, from early fabrication in China through to systems engineering in the UK and work on turbines and blades in Denmark. It also records a painstaking offshore search for World War II mines, which had to be completed before development could commence.
Throughout the project, Myriad Global Media’s global crewing network proved itself to be highly flexible and adaptable to shifting schedules and last minute changes. Also, developing detailed project booklets that documented the overall process, these can be shown to various audiences to draw in the general public and engage local authorities, gaining buy-in.
Our ability to support such a ground breaking project over a 3 year period is something that sets us out from the rest, we work along side our clients like a consultancy to propose angles they won’t think of, ensuring complicated projects go smoothly.
